Having secured a significant grant from the DfE to provide CPD, resources and support to FE practitioners and leaders, our focus was on improving outcomes for learners in Maths and English who have not yet achieved level 2 in either or both subjects.

Driven by ambitious targets, we worked closely with Leeds Beckett University (who provided monitoring and evaluation throughout) to ensure we continually adapted and shaped the project based on feedback and data on what ‘actually works’, ensuring we provided a student and practitioner focused offer to achieve the best outcomes.

Combining our team of experienced FE subject specialists and leaders, we provided face-to-face training and support, with our industry leading Learning Insight Engine, the Development Wheel, which enabled practitioners, leaders and learners to access ‘in your own time’ learning. Drawing on our 14 years experience working in over 2,000 education settings nationally, we provided a blended, accessible approach which had learner outcomes at the heart of everything.

This exciting and innovative programme ran from November 2022 - March 2025.
