Create Development Ltd does not meet the legal definition due to turnover but we still follow the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in communicating our efforts to support the eradication of slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain. We are committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We also want our staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves.
We have a Modern Slavery Policy that is issued to all staff and subcontractors and we operate a supplier policy and maintain a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This includes an online search to ensure that particular organisation has never been convicted of offenses relating to modern slavery [and on-site audits which include a review of working conditions]. Our anti-slavery policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
