Custom Build Wheels

Many of our customers come to us with an existing education or training programme and are looking to enhance its utility and boost its impact. They are often those that have a focus on skills and/or techniques, Special Educational Needs or behaviour, or personal/staff development. A more personal approach may be needed or, traditionally, progress is harder to track and measure and consistency between ‘assessors’ is challenging. They come to us because they have been unable to find a tool that is easy to use, cost-effective and is sensitive to their requirements.

Although the clients who use our Custom Build service are diverse, they often report the same thing that, combined with their own content, The Development Wheel is instrumental as a conversation starter. It helps users to think and talk about their strengths and weaknesses, setting goals, and to continually check in to see how they are doing. The Wheel helps them take an active part in their own development and to progress at an accelerated pace that is suitable to them. In turn, this move towards a less ‘tutor-led’ approach releases those who coach or teach to focus on those who require additional help and gives them space and time to enhance their practice.

Our Custom Build service will work with you to map out your training programme or assessment criteria and create a bespoke Wheel to provide a scaffold or framework to your content, making what you already do well, even better.

Once your Custom Built Wheel has been activated, you will receive all ‘general release’ platform updates free-of-charge, guaranteeing you’ll always have the most up to date functionality throughout the lifetime of your Wheel(s). There is also scope for you to develop your platform further as you identify additional needs or requirements.
